The extensive experience in vehicle production enables DOK-ING to soon include a new creation in their range of products – an electrical city car. Constructors and engineers of DOK-ING have been working on that research and development project for the last four years, and have succeeded in singlehandedly creating a new electric automobile.

Three seats car has been designed primarily as an ecologically acceptable vehicle to be used for city driving, i.e. a second family car. The whole project has been thought of and developed at DOK-ING while an industrial designer, exclusively responsible for the car image, signs the car design.

Customers will have a choice between a cheaper solution consisting of lead battery with lesser autonomy and a new generation battery made of lithium – iron – phosphate (LiFeP04), light, ecologically acceptable and non-combustible. Following two hours charging, the car will be able to cover 250 km. The price will vary according to the chosen battery, desired autonomy and the car equipment. The car will be equipped with the regenerative brake system enabling it to recharge during braking. The warrant period for the car, excluding the battery, is 5 years.

Two permanent 50 kW/65 HP new generation electro motors controlled by the DOK-ING manufactured electronics will be mounted onto the front wheels. 300 Nm torque guarantees exceptional acceleration while the maximum 130 km/h as optimal speed (maximum speed can be adjusted according to customers’ requirements) allows effortless driving over longer distances on the motorways.

The car has modern rounded lines giving it a sporty look, the rear lights are rather unusually X shaped.

Electric car advantages are lesser pollution and cheaper fuel as well as a rather long usage without any need for servicing. This auto industry branch will continue developing alongside the new generation batteries. Such cars have other advantages especially when it comes to city driving: quiet operation, exhaust gas elimination and easier steering. One of the biggest advantages of this car is possibility of full personalization according to client’s needs and preferences, never seen before in a car industry.
The name XD is just concept name not the real model name.

Zagrebačka tvrtka Dok-Ing, poznata u svijetu po izradi vrhunskih strojeva za razminiranje, prihvatila se ambicioznog projekta izrade prvog hrvatskog automobila. Na ideju o izradi električnog vozila došao je Dok-Ingov vlasnik i glavni inženjer Vjekoslav Majetić koji tvrdi da će prototip pokretati litij-željezo-fosfatnom baterijom koja bi trebala izdržati 250 kilometara do slijedećeg punjenja. Procjenjuje se kako bi mogao postići brzinu i do 120 km/h. Prva probna vožnja očekuje se već sljedeće godine.

Prototip XD je dvosjed i dugačak je 260 centimetara. Kako saznajemo, na njegovoj će izradi sudjelovati i druge hrvatske tvrtke, kao što je Tema iz Pule koja razvija elektromotore od 45 kW i 600 Nm i koji bi se ugrađivali u prednje kotače. Za šasiju automobila zadužena je tvrtka Eko-Međimurje, dok bi jedini ne-hrvatski dio bio baterije.

Loša vijest je da bi za izgradnju pogona za proizvodnju automobila trebalo uložiti stotine milijuna eura, tako da u Dok-Ingu očekuju u ulagače voljne sufinancirati projekt.

Isto tako, saznajemo kako bi njegova cijena trebala biti oko 10.000 eura, ovisno o opremi. Navodno bi i država subvencionirala proizvodnju ekološkog vozila. Kritični kao i uvijek, ne možemo biti slijepi i gluhi i ne spomenuti kako bi ta ista država već sada mogla “odriješiti kesu” i povratom poreza ili na neki drugi način sufinancirati vozače koji su već godinama ekološki osviješteni, kao u mnogim razvijenim zapadnim zemljama. Naravno, to se odnosi na vlasnike autoplin uređaja. Odgovor za našu blistavu budućnost znate i sami…
