I have Glocks and …
I have Glocks and 1911s.. both are great weapons.. there are 10 and 11 round mags for the 1911, BTW. The Glock is a better all around survival weapon IMO, but the 1911 can do just fine, too. For nite sights look at the green front post W/yellow or amber rear sights.You need a special tool to change sights on the Glock, they are $80 to $110. Be sure to have at least 6 to 8 mags for each handgun. For me 12 mags are a must! So is stocking up on the very best ammo, such as Speer Gold Dots/Cor Bon

I’m going to have …
I’m going to have to agree with you on this. I have found no mention of this problem on the net or from any of my magpul or knights armament peeps but you make a good case for buying the spare parts and installing them. I’d rather have the parts installed and not need them. It’s just a pain the to change the ejector and spring every time. Perhaps I’ll leave it in .40 with 9mm parts in a baggy. I’m shooting my G19, G26 & G34 mostly anyway. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Well as I said in …
Well as I said in my comments and in the video, you gun may work just fine through who knows how many rounds…BUT…at some point it will fail and if these are the guns your betting your life on you might not want to give them any kind of chance at failing, all I’m saying is since you changed your barrel you should take the time to change the Ejector and the Extractor/Spring and you will be golden and safe

@superrhino100 I …
@superrhino100 I have approved the video. I watched it and thought it was very informative, clear and concise. The only problem with it I have is that I have not experienced a failure on my G22.
I’ve shot wolf, blazer and every other crap ammo. I took my G19 and my G22 appart and looked around. I’ll need to break them down to smaller components to get a more clear picture.

Ok I have uploaded …
Ok I have uploaded my video on why you shouldn’t use 9mm ammo after ONLY changing the barrel…just waiting for it to be approved as a video response.

@superrhino100 Ok, …
@superrhino100 Ok, post is as a reply to this video and I will approve it.

Glock does not post …
Glock does not post their Armorers manual online so I am unable to send you a link to my data…it’s data that Glock puts out in their own books that states what you are doing, even though it may work, is unsafe to do even using Glock barrels and parts…I am literally setting my camera up in a few minutes and am going to make a video using my own Glocks and my data and show you why Glock says it’s unsafe…give me a little time to shoot it and upload it and I will link you to the video
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
@superrhino100 I …
@superrhino100 I don’t mind comments as long as they are valid, researched and backed up by real data, not just “what some other glock armorer told me.”
I’ve used my barrel for thousands of rounds with no FTF. That’s my data. Where is yours? Please keep posting and commenting as I value yours and everyones opinion. Don’t get mad when I don’t agree. I have that right as you do.
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
@superrhino100 Who …
@superrhino100 Who cares what Glock says? Of course they don’t like this because it’s money not spent with Glock. Should I ask my cable company if they think I should switch to DirectTV? No. I hope that everyone googles “lone wolf barrels” or “lone wolf distributors” and sees for themselves. No one is saying using them is dangerous but you. There are many other manufacturers with good reputations too. I’m asking you to back up your claims with solid data. Please send me the link.

Oh and if you don’t …
Oh and if you don’t like to hear comments from people that feel differently than you then you have the option to turn off the comments section to your videos. It’s obvious that you have issues with anyone that has a contradicting point of view especially a point of view that is educated and backed by the manufacturer of the gun you are talking about…so go take the course yourself and hear it from Glock or disable the comments for your videos, either way I’m just reminding people to be SAFE
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
And you are right.. …
And you are right…it takes a 1 day course to be an armor and they also offer a 3 day advanced course which I have taken as well…you seem to think that I am not backing up what I’m saying…but you aren’t denying that if someone calls Glock what Glock will tell them…they will tell them the same thing that they teach in their courses and that this may very well work but it is not safe if all you do is change out the barrel…I gave the numbers to call Glock, everyone can hear it for themself
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
Everybody keep in …
Everybody keep in mind that in order to be a “Glock Certified Armorer” you only need a one day course!!! Any of you can be a “Glock certified armorer” “superrhino100″ is talking out of his rear end about using the 9mm barrel on the G22. He simply does not know what he is talking about. Thousands of happy shooters and other Glock armorers can’t be wrong.
Superrhino100. This channel is devoted to survival and reality. Keep your gunshow commando views to yourself unless you can back them up.

Everybody keep in …
Everybody keep in mind that it’s ok to post a video stating that you have done this or that to your firearm…BUT…just because you do something and it works 99 times in a row doesn’t mean it’s suppose to work or that it’s safe. People much much smarter than myself and “theroadwarri0r” designed a the Glock to work a certain way with certain parts and ammuntion and using it in a manner it was not intended is simply not safe even if it happens to work 99 times in a row at some point it won’t
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
Of course you can …
Of course you can contact Lone Wolf and they will say it is fine…they want you to purchase their product. Contact Glock though and they will tell you not to do it even with their own barrels…A Glock 22 is intended to shoot .40 caliber rounds not 9mm…and as far as backing it up goes I dont have to back it up, Glock manufactured the weapon and it’s as easy as checking their website or giving them a call at (770) 432-1202 or their toll free number 1-866-225-4098
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
@superrhino100. …
@superrhino100. Please don’t be an idiot and a fear monger. It’s perfectly safe, I’ve shot thousands of rounds of 9mm through my conversion barrel on my g22. I would not post a video if it were not safe. I’ve done it so I posted it. To everyone out there, please do you research before purchasing and don’t listen to people that cannot back up what they are saying. Contact Lone Wolf company and ask them about it. They will set you straight.
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
I’m a Glock …
I’m a Glock Certified Armorer and I can honestly say that it is not safe to just change out the barrel and shoot a different caliber like what this guy says he has done. The extractor is different for a reason, DO NOT JUST CHANGE THE BARREL ON A G-22 AND THINK YOU CAN SAFELY SHOOT 9MM AMMO…Glock has a lifetime warranty and the only thing that will void that is customer misuse and doing this is misuse and it will hurt the firearm and possibly hurt the person shooting it!!! BE SAFE NOT STUPID!!!

True, but a lot of …
True, but a lot of revolver calibers are expensive to shoot, let alone practice enough to be an expert.
January 8th, 2010 at 5:37 pm
Why pick the 19 …
Why pick the 19 over the 17? The longer barrel on the 17 might have more accuracy at longer range and fits most tactical holsters you would use in combination with your main rifle or Load Bearing Vest.
I already have access to a small pistol for concealed carry. I think it’s only logical to get a slightly bigger one.
Thoughts?

I picked up my …
I picked up my first Glock ( 23 ) used at a recent gun show for $410 used. To be honest, I sold an H&K USP .40, bought the Glock, and pocketed the difference.
I’ve got a Steyr M9-A1, but will likely sell it and pick up a Glock 19 or 26 for CCW.
