Print as Big as Your Ideas: Cannes Young Lions Kickoff
The winning teams who will represent the U.S. at the Cannes Young Lions Competitions in June showcase their work and explain their creative processes in these exclusive video interviews. Filmed at a party in New York City, USA Today publisher David Hunke and HP’s Jim Wallace also weigh in on the future of print, the rebirth of the “idea” and how print can bring these creative programs to life.
Each year Young Lions competitions are held in the U.S. to select teams who will represent the country as “Team USA” in the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival competitions in June. The U.S. sends three creative teams in the categories of Print, Cyber and Film comprised of an art director and copywriter, as well as a Media team comprised of two media planning or buying strategists.
This year HP celebrated the work of the four winning teams that will compete in Cannes at a kickoff party in New York City. The event showcased the winning work in a custom magazine printed on an HP Indigo digital press and within an art exhibit created with HP Scitex printers and a variety of innovative substrates. The magazine is available to browse through MagCloud: http://magcloud.com/browse/Issue/84768
Congratulations to all the teams!!
