(Justin’s POV)
Heather seemed to be taking along time in her room, or where ever she was. I started thinking something was wrong. It was just a kiss?! We’re just friends…nothing more. That’s how it will always be. That’s how it was meant to be…right? I looked over ym shoulder when Heather failed to return.
“I’m going to check on her you guys, I’m starting to worry.” I told Christian and Faythe.
“Oh yea, like your the type to worry,” Faythe commented.
“Shut the up Faythe,” I snapped at her. She quickly mimed locking her lips and throwing out the key.
“That’s what I thought,” I murmured under my breath.
“I can quickly unlock those lips,” Christian was flirting again. Gag! Seeing him flirt with Faythe?! I didn’t see what he saw in her. But also, I wasn’t too sure about what I saw in Heather. I walked up the stairs and headed to her room.
“Knock, knock.” I said, and let myself in. Empty. I saw her bathroom door was closed. I tapped on the door 3 times with a beat.
“Someone’s in here,” She replied.
“No dip sherlock, now what is taking so long?” I aske dher.
“Justin, I really need to be alone right now.” She said, sternly. It almsot sounded like her voice had an edge in it. As if she was crying.
“I’m not leaving until you come out.” I told her.
“God! Justin! I really need to be alone,” She started almost yelling. Then you heard a crack in her voice. I twisted the knob and went into the bathroom. Obviously she wasn’t smart enough to lock it. She was sitting on the floor. Just balling.
“Heather-”
“Leave! Now!” Tears started streaming down her face.
“Why the are you crying?” I asked her. “I can’t be that bad a kisser,” I stated. I think she found that amusing and cracked a smile.
“I don’t know exactly. I just came in here and started thinking. And before I knew it, I was crying.” She tried explaining. It was hard to understand her when she was crying.
‘So…you just are here crying for no reason?” I tried to make due with what she told me.
“I guess,” She said, then stared off into space.
“Well, what were you thinking about?” I aske dher, kneeling down so I was eye level with her. She gazed into my eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes with red hair. Seemingly strange, but also seemingly attractive on her.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” She stated and started rubbing her arm nervously.
“Stop lying, you want to tell me. You just don’t know how. You can tell me anything. I’m all ears.” I told her, scooting closer.
“Oh yea, you are all ears, them things look like they are Dombo the elephant!” She tried to laugh at her joke, but didn’t succeed.
“Stop trying to change the subject! Your sucha hypacrite!” I laughed quietly.
“Yeah, I guess I am. Because I told you not to and now I am. But also, I told myself I would never…” She trailed off into space.
“You would never what?” I urged for her to go on. I wanted to know what she had to say.
“Fall for someone,” She hid her face behind her hair. I took my hand and moved them behind her ear.
“What are you talking about?” i asked her. Girls are so confusing.
“Never mind, I already said to much.” She said, and then stood up to leave. I stood up and followed her. I grabbed her arm before she left the room.
“No, tell me.” I told her, pulling her back to me.
“I think…not 100% sure, but I think I’m falling for this guy. And didn’t realize it until now. But I don’t think he likes me,” She blushed, and then stared at me for my response.
“How do you know he won’t like you? And yea, I think I like this girl, but I don’t think she likes me.” I told her. This seemed like reverse pyshcology.
“Your totally likable, she must like you.” She smiled.
“Well, who do you like?” I asked her. I was dying to know now.
“Oh some rockstar who is always full of himself,” She smiled.
“What about you?” She asked me.
“Oh your typical teenage girl that I have known for a while,” I started blushing. Why am I? Weird. But I smiled.
“Have you told her you liked her?” She continued.
“I just did,” I smiled, and pulle dher closer to me.
(Heather’s POV)
did he just say what I think he said? “I just did,” yup, he said it. So he likes me? So that kiss dad say something. But why would one little kiss have brought us to this point? I have know idea, but once we did, I thought of all the reason of WHY to like Justin. He wasn’t just a friend, and now he can’t even be close to my brother. He is the one I like. I just gasped at his line. What am I going to do next?

Aubrey’s POV
Okay so it’s been a pretty long time since Joe’s left me. I hate parties, they’re so awkward. I glance around the room, scanning for any sign of Joe. None. Greeeat. I’ve had about 6 cokes because I have nothing better to do, and now I have to pee like a racehorse. I put my cup down and weave my way around the crowd, trying to find the bathroom. Finally! I turn the knob and step inside. It’s actually nice and quiet in here. I quickly finish my business and just stand in front of the mirror. I have absolutely no desire to go back out there. It’s like the jungle. Where is Joe? He said one minute. It’s been at least 45 minutes. Isn’t this supposed to be an awesome first date? I feel like I’ve been ditched. I can’t even find Sydney or Nick anymore, they’re probably making out somewhere. I really don’t have any other friends, unless I want to make some small talk with people from my classes. Yeah, no thanks. The more I keep thinking about, the angrier I get. Who the does he think he is that he can just leave me here like this? I may as well go home and just watch some stupid chick flick. I finally leave the peaceful bathroom and enter the crowds of drunken people. Yuck. I fish my way through the masses of people and end up outside. There’s a bonfire, but when I think of fire I think of passion, which makes me think of romance. And since Joe is no where in sight, I’d rather not. I look like such an outcast. God I have to find him. I venture back into the house and make my way upstairs. I go to the room all the way down the hall and see a huge group of guys, shooting up. Wow. Not what I was suspecting. They all give me dirty looks, so I just blurt out, “Oh I’m sorry. I just…I’ll…go now.” They all exchange glances. Probably thinking ‘who the is she?’ They won’t even remember me by the time I walk down the stairs. But I guess I just figured, why the not? And I blurt out, “I’m looking for Joe. Joe Jonas?” One guy rolls his eyes while the other points to the door next to the bathroom. “Thanks…” I say quietly while shutting the door behind me. They’re all so welcoming. I open the door to see…nothing. Maybe he meant the next door? I open it up and see a boy and a girl hugging each other closely. I start to close the door, hoping maybe they won’t notice my disturbance. But then I realize it’s Joe…
