“[T]hat kid is …
“[T]hat kid is perfectly able to handle a knife as you can see.” I absolutely disagree on that. “Knives are no more dangerous for kids than they are for adults.” Think about that fallacy a bit more. “[C]hildren are not stupid or too clumsy for knives.” Have you seen children? Think over your claim. “Stop complaining, all is fine.” A fool think this is “complaining” or that “all is fine.” Anyone who does not think would think so. Using the kid is a bad choice for many reasons.

no dude the thign …
no dude the thign about the espada is that it can hold up 2 600 pounds!!! not that it’s blade shape or it’s weight etc…….. i like 2 see a voyager hold 600 pounds and it is only 1 of the few knives with the new tri-ad lock

stealthbeast | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Definitely not 200+ …
Definitely not 200+ dollars worth of blade shape.

Get a Voyager XL clip point. Espada is an unnecessary amount of money.

Different blade …
Different blade shape but …

zarnitintunzanyzack | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

@hantasanta And I …
@hantasanta And I have a question for you !
I believe that you are into a knife by looking this video on youtube but you think I am an idiot by using knife in those situation. So you tell me your priority of buying a knife or having a knife ?? 54 seconds ago

zarnitintunzanyzack | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

@Ookaminokemono He …
@Ookaminokemono He used the thumb clip or whatever thay call on the knife to open like that. See Cutlerylover’s coldsteel Ti Lite video. He showed how to do that in step by step. Its pretty easy. Hope you enjoy that video. :)

zarnitintunzanyzack | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

@hantasanta …
@hantasanta Bahaha !!! If you call me idiot, you are a d**khead then. Yeah I know I spell it wrong cos my phone touch screen is sensitive but you think you can against a normal alsation without having a knife ?? If so you are the one going to have a serious injury or even in a dead.. Plus Dingo never live a lone and they are always be in a group. & Croc ! I didn’t mean the crocs that bigger than your mum ;) Anyway having any kind of self defense weapon is better than nothing or less injury.

hantasanta | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

@ …
@zarnitintunzanyzack Bingo is a game. Probably you meant dingo. Anyway if you’re afraid of a dingo without a knife you’re coward. If you think you have a chance against a croc with a knife you’re an idiot. I think you’re both.

zarnitintunzanyzack | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Swear to god !!! …
Swear to god !!! It’s my next buy after San Mai trailmaster !!! Thank coldsteel !!

Nooo!!! I don’t buy knife for around with the people in city.
I live in Australia and i use knife mainly for self defence and survival!!

By the way , In Australia outback there are a lot of Bingo and Croc !! Watch out !! And you know that lym..you have been here before.

Skullchaser8 | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Oh come on, that …
Oh come on, that kid is perfectly able to handle a knife as you can see.

And why shouldn’t he?
Knives are no more dangerous for kids than they are for adults.

Irresponsible?
Oh come on, children are not stupid or too clumsy for knives.

Stop complaining, all is fine.

6leafdom | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

this is even more …
this is even more badass than the rajah lol

alexebox | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Notice the emphasis …
Notice the emphasis on FIXED blade, hich doesn’t include folders unless A/O:

Strictly citing California State Law 626.10:
(b) Any person… who brings or possesses any dirk, dagger, ice pick, or knife having a FIXED blade longer than 2 1/2 inches upon the grounds of, or within, any private university, the UC, the CSU, or the California Community Colleges is guilty of a public offense, punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by imprisonment in the state prison.

americanwillow | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

“California knife …
“California knife laws wouldn’t have an issue with it even in colleges and universitities.”

Are you kidding? Anyone will be in big trouble if this is found on said person in a college. Check all college guidelines. Jail time anyone?

csknives | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Our Ti-Lite, AK-47, …
Our Ti-Lite, AK-47, Espada, Spartan and a couple othersfeature the “pocket snag” opening that deploys as you pull out of your pocket.

Templarium | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Pretty cool songs, …
Pretty cool songs, were they specially made for this video or…?

Ookaminokemono | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

how did he make the …
how did he make the folder flip out the moment he took it out of his pocket at 4:55 ?

icecrimson | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

i still prefer the …
i still prefer the rajah simply of it’s kukri like blade that cuts deeper!

MrBillybrown66 | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

I still want one, …
I still want one, but I’ll probably get the Rajah II first.

slackingFox | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

sweet demo, and …
sweet demo, and amazing knife, but i cant even imagine carrying that on me.. it’d be like carrying concealed with a mk23… kinda impractical…

stealthbeast | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

You guys really …
You guys really push your Espadas as tactical folders… But in such a category, the Espada is WAY too expensive.

I couldn’t EDC an Espada.. I’d be too afraid to do anything with my multi-hundred dollar knife.

If you like the performance of Cold Steel’s XL Espada, check out the more economical Cold Steel’s Rajah II. Same size, same steel, same locking mechanism, 1/3 the price, and the Rajah has a thicker blade and the wave feature.

Cold Steel, Make an economical grivory version of the Espada!

RedJellyable | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

thats death in your …
thats death in your hand.

kaziklu79 | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Great!
Great!

kenthenoob | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

it’s all about the …
it’s all about the pork scene.

svcreeper | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

yea their great.
yea their great.

alexebox | 13.03.2010 at 3:29 am

Naah, too small for …
Naah, too small for me, it doesn’t compensate adequately for my other “shortcomings.” I will wait until a 28″ blade version comes out and then practice Iaido with it and pierce brick walls and 50 gallon water drums. (end of sarcasm)

Now seriously, I thought my Rajah was big, but this Espada XL is the Hummer of folders. And because it is a folder, California knife laws wouldn’t have an issue with it even in colleges and universitities. EDC anybody? Perhaps on a shoulder harness like a S&W .44.

Have an opinion?
